Bearded is a gentleman I watched in a folk festival who was watching from the sidelines.  The more I painted him the more it seemed he may have had a paralysis in his hands, they just did not seem normal.  He seemed a product of the seventies with some hard living showing on his face.  Although he hung around the outskirts of the group he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself.

I've left his hands vague.  I didn't want to give them substance and function they did not have.
